OBERON’S CROWN
2020



Oberon is one of the characters of the play : A midsummer night’s dream. He is the king of fairies, the witness of human feelings and the troublemaker of their night. During one night in the undergrowth, all senses are mingled by the fact of Oberon’s tricks.

The crown is a tribute to woods and their hidden fantasy.

Extract Act 4 scene 1 :
« OBERON
Then, my queen, in silence sad,
Trip we after the night’s shade :
We the globe can compass soon,
Swifter then the wandering moon. »

 This month, I clothe my nights’ coat to hide from the shadows at the time when leaves are blushing, when my nights shade my days, when they strike while the sun is sleeping away.
